SOUTHEASTERN LEARNING AGREEMENT
The Southeastern Learning Agreement has been signed off by ASLEF, TSSA, RMT, Southeastern and the Rail Union Learning Programme. The Lifelong Learning Steering Committee (LLSC) is to be chaired by Dave Bull (Ramsgate) with Perry Calvert (Ashford) also on the Committee.

OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING PUBLICATION
A new publication has been proposed for Operations & Engineering staff to provide them with technical information and updates on what is happening within their departments. It will aim to meet their professional needs. The following Drivers are members of this group Martin Ward (Ramsgate), Vlad Doliak (Victoria), Joe Holmes (Grove Park.).

PAY & CONDITIONS DEAL
Drivers Company Council and the District Organiser Graham Morris will be meeting the LDRs on 24 & 25 July to discuss the Pay & Conditions deal. By now all Depots will have posted the letter from Graham Morris outlining the deal, if you have any concerns/comments you wish to be raised by your LDRs write to them and ask them to raise it at this meeting.

All ASLEF members will receive a ballot paper, which opens on 20 August 2007 and closes on 17 September 2007. ONLY ASLEF MEMBERS CAN VOTE

Our anniversary date for this deal was 04 March 2007, so Drivers will receive back pay from 04 March 2007 when a deal is accepted by the membership.

UNIFORM
Thank you to all Drivers who raised their concerns over the proposed new uniform with management, which has led to some changes in the uniform we are to wear.
