PAY DEAL
We are currently waiting for a meeting to take place between Graham Morris and the Human Resources manager Nigel Cotton, to discuss PT&R arrangements. We will be discussing with management on Thursday 28 June the finer points of the deal now that the bulk has been sorted out. We will endeavour to arrange all going well, to set dates at this meeting to meet the LDR’s, to explain the Pay & Conditions deal to them.
Colleagues
Please note the reason I have not been able to meet with Nigel Cotton is that he has been off sick for the last 6 weeks. I will be arranging to meet him at the earliest opportunity.
Graham Morris, District Secretary375 CAB TO CAB
It has been reported that there is a known fault on some 375 units that the cab-to-cab conversations are being broadcast throughout the train. Please take care when using the cab-to-cab and report any faults.
UNIFORM
There has been mainly negative feedback on the proposed new uniform. Particularly concerning the colour and pattern of the shirt. Other issues are lack of pockets in some garments. We have been assured by Charles Horton the managing director that if the majority of feedback is negative changes can be made.
SENIORITY LIST
A seniority list for your depot that was created by Southeastern will be posted on your notice boards soon. All queries should be forwarded to Drivers Company Council, through the LDR, with as much detail as possible.
ASLEF NATIONAL ORGANISER ELECTIONS
Ballot papers have now been issued for the ASLEF National Organiser position, we would urge all ASLEF members to use their vote and return their paper by the 18 July 2007.
Yours Fraternally
